Hunting and Carving

It's ALMOST Halloween so we still had some preparations to make. Claire needed to choose and carve her pumpkin for this year. So this morning we set off for Valley View Farms.....not the traditional pumpkin picking experience BUT we love it anyway! Claire(ok, I) choose the perfect pumpkin for us to carve and away we went to see a 1000lb pumpkin and a hay maze!! We had a HUGE fun filled weekend so more pictures will follow.

Defreece Family Visit!!

This weekend the family traveled up to Reading, Pa to visit our FAVORITE family! The Defreeces'!! We love these visits because not only do the adults get to have a great time, the kids have a SUPER time as well!
The weekend was filled with laughter, joking, hugs, adult conversations(that didn't even revolve around children....well some didn't...) and most importantly FUN! Claire even took a step towards "big girlhood!" she slept in Devin's toddler bed...for 6 hours the first night(spent the rest of the night snuggled between Mommy and Daddy) and a WHOPPING 11 hours Saturday night! We are considering...maybe, just maybe....converting her crib.......

What to say about this picture........

On Saturday, we all went to Derek's school for

a Fall Festival. It was a great time! In the library,

they had a ventriloquist! She was pretty good.

She did a lot of that this weekend...she hasn't yet realized

that he is older than she.

Right before this, Derek was kind enough to offer

her some cotton candy. As I handed it to her and told her to

eat it, she refused and kept signing "cat" she thought that

it looked and felt like cat hair so she did not want to eat it!

After I took a bite and handed it back to her, then she ate some.

It was too CUTE!

The two of them spent a great deal of time in

that stroller this weekend!

all weekend. She followed Bella everywhere.

She even named her new doll Bella!

I gave her the choice between two names and she was

very insistant that we name the doll Bella.
