Awesome yard sale score and some art!

This morning Claire and I were on our way home from a long walk/tricycle ride, when we(I) saw a yard sale sign. Now, one of our big budget cuts this year was restricting yard sale attendance. Well since Claire was sooo enthusiastic about going(who was I to say no...?) When we got there, I saw this AWESOME old school desk for $15!!! So now Claire has a FANTASTIC new art desk which she tested out with finger paints this afternoon.

Isn't it AWESOME??!!

It's hard to finger paint when you are wounded, BUT Claire found a way
even though she had not one but TWO paper cuts(pretty bad ones too!)

She is always so excited to do artwork!!

"My hands, Mommy!!"

Hand prints!
Some of her pictures today are VERY frame worthy!

Happy Easter!

Over the weekend we traveled to NEPA to help the Atherton Clan celebrate Easter! When we arrived, we met up with Uncle Jim, Aunt Jami, Rhys, Anya and their cousin Kristen for an Easter Egg Hunt! Claire had a blast with her cousins! Although, she was NOT a fan of the Easter Bunny. She wouldn't even let go of my neck to look more closely at him. But other than that she was so excited to be there. Every time we got in the car she would say "Me, fun.....(insert name here ;-)

First Dental Visit

Today was Claire's first trip to the dentist. We had a long talk about it over the past few days and she was ready and seemed to understand what was going to happen there.

"Dendist looking at my teef."

Despite the look of slight fear/annoyance, she was excited to be here.

See?

Getting a bit bored waiting for the Dr. to arrive.

She even got to wear her sunglasses during the exam.
She was a bit skeptical at first but she finally let the Dr.
in to have a look around.

Passover!

We had a lovely Passover with the Stahl family this week. It was filled with good food, family and tradition. Claire was exceptionally funny during the first part of dinner. She kept saying it was a birthday party while clapping and shrieking.

Arianna taught Claire how to put shells to her ears and listen for the ocean.

Helping Ari hear the ocean.

Checking out the table.

Uncle Steve and Claire checking out their favorite Sun Art

Auntie J and Claire, at this point Claire was getting a bit fed up with all the pictures.
