Our little lady decided to draw today. THIS is what she drew.
A dragon!! I was flabbergasted! She showed us the back, the "skin", its legs
and its face. If we hadn't seen it happen, we would have thought someone else
drew it... Budding artist??
Oh FYI, I drew the people and it's Claire and I ;-)

there is a *lot* i love, love, love about the toddler time from ages 2-3, and the emergence of the artist is definitely towards the top of that list. those little squiggles that become circles that become named objects (even if YOU can't tell what they are, THEY know)...then the shapes become more recognizable and suddenly... wow it looks like what they said it was! :)
